The new Affirmative YEStwin 5250 PCI Emulation Card allows attachment of PCs with PCI expansion slots to IBM S/3X and AS/400 Host Systems supporting the twinaxial protocol. This adapter can be attached to the host either locally through the Host twinaxial workstation controller, or remotely via an IBM Remote Control Unit or compatible.

While maintaining compatibility with the old standard 5250 Data Stream, this new adapter meets all the requirements of the new IBM 5250 Express Data Stream.
